Description: You have 45 minutes to perform a clean and unique freestyle design. Skills and imagination ONLY.

COLOR/ENHANCEMENTS ALLOWED (optional). NO CELL PHONES, OR PAPER REFERENCE.

You will be graded on overall cut, cleanliness, sanitation, precision, & symmetry.

TRADITIONAL HAIRSTYLE

Description: You have 30 minutes to perform a fresh Traditional Hairstyle!
Must use scissor techniques to create layers and shape.

NO COLOR/ENHANCEMENTS ALLOWED.

You will be graded on overall cut, cleanliness, sanitation, precision, & symmetry.

NEW-ERA HAIRSTYLE

Description: You have 30 minutes to perform a trendy hairstyle (e.g., Crop, Mullets, Shag, etc.).
Must include a fade or taper. The top of the hair MUST be styled.

NO COLOR/ENHANCEMENTS ALLOWED.

You will be graded on overall cut, cleanliness, sanitation, precision, & symmetry.

HIGH TAPER & BEARD

Description: You have 40 minutes to perform a blurry high taper (no C-cups) & cleanest beard line-up.
The top of the hair MUST be #2 (waves) or longer. Scissor techniques are welcome.

NO COLOR/ENHANCEMENTS ALLOWED.

FEMALE STYLIST (LOW FADE)

Description: You have 30 minutes to perform a blurry LOW FADE.
The top of the hair MUST be #2 or longer. Scissor techniques are welcome.
